Baby Food Made Easy

The Client Brief:
Sonja Lynch is a baby nutritional expert and she wanted to create a visual language that was friendly and fun. She found that most competitors all used spoons and forks in their logos and imagery and so she was adamant not to incorporate those elements.
As you can see from the design below, there is not a utensil in sight. Sonja also requested the use of a red/orange colour palette. As a citrus colour, orange is associated with healthy food and stimulates appetite.

The Snap Solution:
The use of soft warm colours gives the overall look of the material a friendly and nurturing feel. A rounded font and simple graphics are complimented by a clean white space. Alternatively for more impact, logos and fonts can be reversed out in white with a gradient colour background.
The main photography in the collateral consists of close-ups of infants eating nutritional meals. The combination of all these elements produces a visual language consistent with Sonja’s request for a fun and friendly look and feel.

The Results:
Overall, Sonja was delighted with the outcome and was happy we were able to achieve what she wanted to communicate.
